Yesterday I had the worst sleep I had in a while. May’ve been due to the anomalous use of a terrible pillow, but more likely I think to the late use of caffeine (around 15:00). Was pretty out of it most of the day, the foggy unable-to-think-ness was back.
Previously my alertness tracker was pretty high friction, I’ve massively simplified it now and it’s going to poll me every hour, so we’ll have much better data soon :)
I tightend up the tracker to make it easier to rapidly run through the values I’m tracking, and since I’m reliably using it every day now I’ve added some other things like if I followed Plan, and what challenege I’m currently doing.
Similarly to Day 18, I was super-alert during the nap and really tired about 30-60 mins later. Wish I had this pinpointed on a graph, but If I woke up at about 8 then the tiredness was at about 15, which is 7 hour difference. I’ll try taking my naps in the 7-8th hour. I’ll take caffeine at 15:00 despite it’s unplelasant effects on night sleep so far, as for it to not be swirling in my system during the nap.
